We look forward to meeting you all and getting to know you all over the year.
In English this term, the children will be investigating settings, diary writing and newspaper reports through “The Borrowers” by Mary Norton and "Zeraffa Giraffa" by Dianne Hofmeyer.
In Science the children will be looking at “Animals including Humans”, which will involve finding out what animals and humans need to grow and stay healthy, for example hygiene, exercise and healthy eating.
Next half term we will start to look at plants and how they grow.
Our History topic is all about Houghton Regis and how it has changed and grown since it was first recorded in the Doomsday Book.
Our geography topic is The United Kingdom and Europe based on the book Miranda the Explorer by James Mayhew.
Homework will be sent home with children on a Friday and needs to be back in school the following Wednesday.
Reading needs to be daily and signed off in your child/ren's reading record.
