School Trips & Workshops

Dinosaur Workshop - Tuesday 14th January 2020

Reception and Year 1 children had the opportunity to take part in a dinosaur and fossil workshop run by 'The Education Group'. All children loved digging through the sand finding different types of fossils. The afternoon was rounded off by a surprise visit from Sophie the T-Rex.

Holdenby House - Friday 15th November 2019

Year 4 and 5 pupils went to Holdenby House for part of their topic 'Victorians'. They were taken around the house, allocated jobs, told their conditions of service and taught deportment and manners. In the afternoon sessions they presented themselves to her Ladyship.

Celtic Harmony - Wednesday 30th October 2019

Year 2 and 3 children went to Celtic Harmony for part of their topic 'Stone Age'.  It was a good experience for our pupils to see how life back then was, and to take part in a variety of tasks and challenges. They even worked in groups to build their own woodland shelter!

Holdenby House - Friday 4th October 2019

Year 6 children went to Holdenby House for part of their topic 'WW2'.  It was a good experience for our pupils to see how life back then was, and to take part in a variety of tasks and challenges. Everyone was hands on!
